Lou Arthur Memorial Academic Scholarship

The Lou Arthur Memorial Academic Scholarship is offered to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their academic performance and display a desire and willingness to make a valuable contribution to the College community.

Applications will be accepted from currently enrolled Year 8 Parade College students who will be in Year 9 2026. Students will be required to complete the ACER HAST (Higher Ability Selection Test) Further information about the ACER HAST will be provided to candidates and their families upon receipt of application. An interview with senior school staff for short-listed candidates is an integral part of the process of awarding scholarships. Applicants are also assessed on their responses to application questions and supporting documentation.

The Lou Arthur Memorial Academic Scholarship will carry between 50% - 100% remission of tuition fees for Year 9 and Year 10, and will be reviewed annually on the basis of consistent academic performance and contribution to school life.

Scholarship Outcomes: All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application by Friday 15 August 2025.

Please note that the number of scholarships awarded each year is dependent upon the quality of the applications received. The College will not enter into further discussion regarding scholarship outcomes.
