It is our policy that all applicants for child-connected work at Parade College are informed about the requirements and the College’s child protection practices before working here.
Parade College is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe environment in which students not only feel safe but are safe. A condition of employment is that staff are deemed to be a person suitable to work with children. Parade College has a Child Safe Policy and a Child Safety Code of Conduct. All staff members of the school are subject to, and expected to, comply with the Child Safe Policy and the Child Safety Code of Conduct.

It is also our policy that all new staff undergo additional screening to meet Child Protection requirements which may include:
- Relevant qualifications and registrations
- Working with Children Check clearance
- National Police Records Check
- Personal identity verification and background check
- Reference check will also address the person's suitability for the working with children check.
